Confessions of a Broken Heart
Walking along in a fog so dense,
where all my thoughts they make no sense,
my stars, once so bright they shone,
they shine no more, I'm all alone
my body is battered, my soul is sore
its never felt this way before
my senses are numb, my heart is stone
this path I tread, I'm all alone
a light I seek, a way to shore
through storms to calm, a life in store
See, try as I might, I cannot find
a peace they say, that is mine
try as I may, I cannot see
a life they say, belongs to me
You’re tone so hard, your gaze so shy
I lost all that when you said goodbye
